Global Wind Summit 2018 in Hamburg (Germany)
25 - 28 September 2018

The Global Wind Summit encompasses the world’s leading expo for wind energy, WindEnergy Hamburg, and the global on- and offshore conference Wind Europe. The summit will provide a comprehensive overview of the current status and future prospects of the sector – along the entire value chain of the international wind industry, onshore and offshore. It will take place on the grounds of the Hamburg Messe exhibition center.

The PROMOTioN partners will host a side event, to discuss the latest findings on the legal, economic and financial regulatory framework for meshed offshore HVDC grids in two parallel sessions.


Country Workshop Germany in Hamburg (Germany)

The Country Workshop Germany will be held as a side event during the WindEnergy Expo in Hamburg, which takes place between 25 and 27 September 2018. Our event will bring together interdisciplinary stakeholders from industry, government, and civil society from Germany and beyond to reflect on the development potential for an integrated offshore energy grid and the development of offshore wind energy in German waters.

The 7th International Conference on Renewable Power Generation (Denmark)

RPG 2018 brings together international academics, researchers, engineers and consultants working in renewable energy, to publish results, share knowledge and forge new partnerships. For the first time RPG will take place in Denmark, where the DTU and the Center for Electric Power and Energy host the 7th International Conference on Renewable Power Generation.

Final MUSES Conference (Belgium)

The final MUSES (Multi-Use in European Seas) conference will take place on 10th October 2018 in Brussels, Belgium. It will engage a wide range of interested stakeholders from the business community, public administrations, research and academia. The aim is to present the EU-wide Multi-Use Action Plan that addresses a variety of multi-use combinations including those driven by, for example, offshore renewable energy in combination with different types of aquaculture.
17th Wind Integration Workshop 2018 in Stockholm (Sweden)
16 - 18 October 2018
This workshop seeks to get researchers, economists and practicing engineers from different fields relating to wind power and transmission systems to exchange their knowledge and discuss their experience in the area of large-scale integration of wind power into power systems and transmission networks for offshore wind farms. The emphasis of this workshop is on both theoretical discussion and practical applications.


VIND 2018- Swedish Wind Energy Asssociation's annual conference
24 - 25 October 2018

On 24 - 25 October 2018 the Swedish Wind Energy Association will hosts its annual conference and exhibition in Stockholm, expecting more than 40 exhibitors and 750 visitors. The conference is the wind power industry's largest one in the Nordic region.
